Complaint Review: Ford Motor

I have a 97 Thunderbird which has been for repairs every 6 months. When I take it in they can not find the problem, Then I wind up paying someone else big bucks to fix the problems.

It has had an oil leak at the head since the day I drove it off the lot. Imagine having to park your first brand new no miles car on a piece of cardboard in peoples driveways beacause of the leaks that aren't there.

Now the heater core is out agian. I had it repalced on 4/18/02 and as usual Ford tells me that it is a part that goes out every year or so and that it was only covered for 12 months.

A service man at the Mc Cree Ford, Dickinson told me that the core went out from steeping on the gas to get into traffic. I am not a young woman who has not owned more than one car. I have never had a core go out on any car I have had.

Now I have to pay someone else to fix the car and I have to use my daughter's car to get around maybe, if she doesn't need it to take her kids anywhere.

This is my first new car and Ford has totaly let me hanging with alot of repairs that I should not have to do.

I can not even sell or trade the car in until I spend the $600-$700.00 to fix the repairs they just did a year ago.
