ford taurus sucks dont even rent a ford
my 1990 taurus sucks .i have had it almost 2 years & i might have driven it a whole week while i've had it. it has something wrong called the whole motor!!!!!!! i have taken it to 20 different mechanics & they can't figure it out. it has no heat,it runs hot even when its freezing. it has had 5 holes in the radiator along with whatever is wrong with it. i have contacted the bbb in memphis but they don't seem to give a s**t either.so who do you get a hold of to get help?????????FORD SUCKS

I also own a ford vehicle, and I had the exact same problem with it, no heat, but the engine was constantly overheating. I had the head gasket checked out and my mechanic told me that there was nothing wrong with it. I later found out that there were pin holes in the gasket, that were not enough to let out exhaust gases(that is how they check a head gasket) but it was enough to cause the problems with the heat. You should have the head gasket changed. Mine is currently working fine and I have had no other problems with it. Just though I would let you know that you are not the only one out there going through this.
