The 7 day trial is a scam to automatically charge your credit card. You are charged before you have a chance to cancel. The charges are automatic without prior authorization. This is an old-school scam for those of us who remember the old music and magazine "trial" periods.

We do offer a 7-day trial, which allows house hunters, investors and others looking to score amazing real estate deals with total access to our database of more than 2 million distressed listings throughout the United States. It's doesn't cost a penny. If a visitor decides to use the service for more than seven days, yes, there is a monthly subscription. That's not a scam. That's a business, one that has thrived for more than one decade. And we make it very clear -- on numerous occasions -- what our visitors can expect if they intend to browse our listings for more than the allotted trial period.

Furthermore, we make it very simple to cancel a trial membership at ANYTIME, 24/7, 365. That's right, you may cancel directly through the website 24 hours a day even when we are closed, or you can call customer service during business hours, or you can cancel via email or voicemail. It's no different than watching a rented movie or video game, or even a library book, for more than an agreed upon specified amount of time. What's more, we even let our visitors cancel their trials immediately upon sign up and still honor the remaining time of the trial without any charge whatsoever.

Please always remember that customer service is only a phone call away and is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.  In addition, on our website there is a "Contact Us" page where we list our local number, toll free number, email, mailing address, and hours of operation so our customers can contact us if there are any questions.

In short, we give our customers as many options as possible to cancel their accounts, or to reach us with any questions they might have about our service.  We have a knowledgeable team of customer support professionals available during normal business hours -- these are real live people ... it's not automated.
