Signed up for trial 7 day access to foreclosuredata.com for 2.95. I set up my user id and password. Could not access website- received invalid ID. I contacted the credit card company to report that I couldn't access the website. Their representative acknowledged they could not access either and entered a ticket for me, and claimed it would take up to 48 hours for a response. He was kind enough to extend my trial by those two days. I continued to attempt to access the website to no avail, nor did I hear from the company.

I did a lookup on who owned the domain, and pulled the telephone number- see below;

I spoke with the gentleman who answered the phone, and he claimed he would speak to the system engineers, and he would refund my 2.95 and give me a free month of access, and I would hear back from him at the end of the day.I never did, and I still could not access the site.

I attempted to place a support request through their contact information and waited for a response. I waited another day, then posted a negative blurb about them on the site. That elicited this response as an autoreply :

Thank you for contacting our support staff. A qualified support specialist will be contacting you within 24 hours.

Thank You

I waited another 24 hours, and after no response, I happened to check my bank balance and saw they charged me 40.00 for the end of the trial period. I called the credit card company and explained what was going on. They did not want to credit me back told me I should have called them to resolve. I told them I gave them that opportunity, and gave them the number that of the gentleman I spoke with. He put me on hold for a few minutes, and came back on to tell me that wasn't their number, to which I corrected him and offered to send him the whois information. After 15 minutes or so, he begrudgingly said he would give me the full refund, and it would take 7-10 business days. After that I received an email stating they would refund the 2.95 and give me access to the web site until May 5th. Of course..there is no access to the website.

This is quite a fraudulent scheme to get the consumers money, and not provide service.
