I ordered a countertop quartz stone through a Shanghaiese guy called YING JIAN GENG (James) from Elite Cabinet. He is just a talker. I called him several times before the installation to make sure the installation procedure will be up to the standard (Countertop is levelly installed, the thickness of the countertop is 1 1/4 inch). He told me there shouldn't be a problem. He didn't tell me about where he got the stone and until the day of installation, I find out it's Forever Stone which is ok. I just never heard of them.
On the day of installation, the truck driver with two Mexican guy came in and installed it for less than 30 mins. I am surprised by how fast it is. I was in a rush and didn't pay attention to the thickness and whether the countertop is level. I later on found out that the countertop is 1/8 inch thinner. She claimed it should be the standard 1 1/4 inch but even I sent them a picture, they said "Why don't you say you deal with James?" When they installed it, they also never check if the stone is level or not.
The Shanghai woman who is the owner of Forever Stone changes her tone immediately after she got the money. I hope all other customers should think carefully before buying from either of the two stores. They commit big saying there will be no problem and they did a rough job. Once they got the money, they went away. Please don't buy from Forever Stones.
