Forsythe Data Equipment Co. Bogus invoices faxed overnight San Diego California
This is not the first time I've come to work to find 3-page invoices, sent 3 times, on my fax machine. They're all addressed to Kevin Batemen in Utah and other than its name, there is no way to contact them on the invoices.
They're in the same league as the telephone copier paper scammers pretending to "update their files and need the model number of your machine."
While we've never been duped, having to be alert to these cons has made me suspicious of EVERYONE who calls...I "Google" everyone I'm not familiar with; it's interesting that this website is the first one to come up when Forsythe Data Equipment Co. is typed in.
Thanks for the opportunity to add my complaint.

I did a Yahoo search and follows a consumer alert related to this scam on the web site for the Better Business Bureau of Spokane Washington:

I live in the San Diego area. There is no such street or address in San Diego. The zip code isn't even San Diego County. Any zip code San Diego County would begin with 919xx, 920xx or 921xx. I suspect this a scam to get confidential business information. The link posted above has helpful information on how to report thsi scam to the Federal Trade Commission.
