Forsythe Data Equipment ripoff dishones fraudulent billing scam San Diego California
We were hit by these scam artists too. There is also an address on the web: www.data-recovery-backup.info/forsythe-data-equipment.-co.asp-48k. When you click on the web address a very generic home page comes up with some customer info. that you can fill in. When you click on the service icons displayed this takes you to other services and companies that offer data recovery services.
Forsythe Data Equipment Co.'s home page appears to be bogus and after you give your business info to them then it takes you to these other businesses that actually do data recovery and Forsythe's page is only a front. I tried to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and their page was unavailable. They need to find these people and shut them down.

I just did a whois at dnsstuff.com for the owner of data-recovery-backup.info. It is registered to an address in Delhi, India. There is a reference in the registration to an organization named aspsql.com.
aspsql.com is registered through GoDaddy, which is based in Scottsdale, AZ. GoDaddy's primary business is to conceal the identities of web site owners from law enforcement and consumers who have been ripped off. The actual owners of aspsql.com can be anywhere in the world.
