Complaint Review: Fort Bragg Electric

Be very careful when dealing with this company, make sure you get every single thing they do in writing.

Josh the project manager met me at my place to discuss the installation of the generator. I asked what it will cost, his quote was "more then 500 less 1000". We didn't speak of money again till the bill came. The bill was 4103.15 and he wouldn't budge on the price. I offered 2000.00 to call it paid in full and he said no. Then i received court papers and was being sued.

At this point i went and got some more quotes and had a few different contractors tell me that the work was not done up to code and basically it is going to fall off of my house in the next few years. Its a inside nema1 box (i think) and its a nema3 outdoor waterproof box i need. Josh informed me their was no need for a permit and i was informed wrong. I also some reason have 2 transfer switches on the side of my house when i should only have one.

Just make sure you get it on paper, or you might learn a hard lesson the way i did.
