I know from experience. I am a graduate from this school. They do not support their graduates. I have not received a diploma from this college even after graduating. This is supposed to feel like a big accomplishment for me, but somehow, this school has made me feel like a failure. They will not return my phone calls nor am I able to get in contact with anyone about anything. There goes the "support after you graduate" line I was given after signing up. All you get when calling the school is an operator, which transfers you to whoever, then a voice mail. This has been mostly my entire experience; not being able to get in contact with the proper channels when needing to resolve an issue.

Throughout the program, there were only a handful of instructors who were actually of any assistance. Not only that, but when getting out there networking with other graduates in my field from better colleges, they had been trained in areas I knew nothing about. When asked a question about a subject in the field, I felt completely embarrassed when I wasn’t able to respond. I feel like such a looser for choosing this college. Something really needs to be done about these diploma mill schools just out there to use students by telling them what they want to hear to sign them on, then providing substandard services and education; all the while laughing their way to the bank. This entire system is failing in the educational department and not a d** thing is being done about it. So sad.

You are absolutely correct that these for-profit schools do not live up to their hype.  One of the things you can do is complain the the state agency responsible for oversight.  You wrote "Centerville" in your title so I'm going out on a limb and thinking you attended the campus in Centerville, OH (I actually live there).  You can address your complaint to: scr.ohio.gov/ConsumerInformation/FilingaComplaint.aspx.

If you live in another state, let me know and I can send you the appropriate link.

There has been a great deal of interest at both the state and federal level about whether these schools have been operating within the law.  Students in EVERY state are encouraged to file through the appropriate complaint process in their state so they can be heard.

There isn't anything else you can probably do at this point, except let everyone you know about your experience. Maybe declining enrollments will get their attention and force them to make changes.

Good luck!
