I have a neurological condition that has put me in a wheelchair and Jordan Robertson was very convincing that he could help me regain my mobility but his expensive "fitness sessions" made no difference to my symptoms, specifically the strength in my legs and mobility. The prime reason for this was because as I was subsequently informed by a neurological physiotherapist he had it all the wrong way round and was trying to make me stand by improving the strength in my legs, whereas the correct way was to get me standing to make my legs strong, ie vice versa as this restores the neurological pathways. By doing the former he tried to force me to do movements that I couldn't do with no results including hanging me from the bathroom doorway in a sling and trying to make me move my legs and feet to no avail. He didn't have the necessary knowledge and experience to take my case on but wasn't honest about this thus wasting $1000s of my money.

Although he meticulously went through all his exercises and ticked his little boxes "proving" that I was steadily improving, again this was incorrect and false as my movements were faked and generated/caused by him pushing/pulling my legs and/or working off my reflexes while pretending that this wasn't the case, again wasting $1000s of my money. This was confirmed by my caregivers telling me that I wasn't improving at all and even seemed to be getting worse.

Also as soon as he sent me an invoice he constantly harassed me for payment, usually making pathetic excuses to contact me to "see if I'd received it" and when we fell out he threatened me with regard to my status in Canada which was totally legal (I am a British citizen and Canadian permanent resident). He is unprofessional, immature, difficult to communicate with, naïve, irritating and hopeless. Do not be fooled by his web site and false claims of success!

Jordan Robertson is a Liar

Jordan is lying to mask his incompetence and ignorance. I do have a neurological condition but it is NOT degenerative like he claims. The cause, as Jordan is well aware is heavy metal toxicity, specifically mercury and lead poisoning which is totally CURABLE AND REVERSIBLE. I have all the test results on my computer and I showed Jordan these prior to commencing training with him. The best results are obtained from physical rehabilitation in conjunction with IV chelation therapy to remove the heavy metals. This is unavailable in the UK and the reason (or one of the reasons) I came back to Canada which was to have treatment with Dr Chen at Advanced Healing Arts in Port Moody. Results obtained are permanent contrary to what Jordan says. What he is deliberately overlooking and trying to divert attention from is his METHODOLOGY. I repeat what I said in my original report - Jordan was trying to get me to stand by making my legs strong, but it should have been vice versa: as advised by a neuro physio at NeuroAbility in Vancouver what Jordan should have been doing is getting me standing as this restores the damaged neurological pathways and the strength in your legs. Instead he was trying to force me to do movements that I couldn't do and so great was his arrogance to prove himself right and his desire to capitalize on the situation financially that he was faking results by moving my legs himself and/or working off my reflexes. He got angry when I suggested this but he had a tendency to display sudden bursts of anger out of nowhere which was rather disconcerting as well as unprofessional.

As far as the additional physiotherapists go, it was Jordan's decision not to use these not mine - he said he didn't need any help + he was worried they would steal his techniques!

With regard to my immigration status in Canada, I told Jordan in confidence that I thought I might have to reapply for my permanent residency as I'd spent too long outside the country but I talked to 2 immigration lawyers and they advised me differently. Jordan was NOT concerned about his country at all, constantly telling me how much he wanted me to remain in Canada presumably so that he could make lots of money out of me; rather he SPITEFULLY used the situation against me when I refused to pay his bill. He threatened to set the Canadian authorities on me but I never heard a word from them: a) they wouldn't have let me in the country if I'd done anything wrong and b) they wouldn't discuss anything so personal, private and confidential with Jordan!

Untrue Accusations!

Jordan is lying to mask his incompetence and lack of knowledge. I do have a neurological condition but it is NOT degenerative and Jordan knows this. As he is well aware I have heavy metal toxicity, specifically mercury and lead poisoning which is fully curable and reversible. It mimics MS but is NOT MS and has caused some paralysis and nerve damage. I have all the test results on my computer and showed Jordan these prior to commencing training with him. Physical rehabilitation is most successful when it is combined with chelation therapy which is unavaiable in the UK, hence as Jordan is fully aware it is the reason why (or one of the reasons why) I returned to Canada to be treated by Dr Chen at Advanced Healing Arts in Port Moody. Jordan's statements are totally untrue: my chances of recovering my mobility are high WITH THE RIGHT THERAPY and the results would be permanent. What Jordan has failed to address and what I questioned is his METHODOLOGY. I repeat what I said in my origsinal report which is that due to Jordan's lack of knowledge and experience he was trying to make my legs strong in order to get me to stand instead of vice versa - as advised by a neuro physio at a company called Neuro Ability it is the standing that restores the neurological pathways that are damaged, but such was Jordan's arrogance and determination to prove himself right and capitalize on the situation financially that he faked results, surreptitiously moving my legs hmself and working off my reflexes. He would get angry when I suggested this too. He also said that he and his family had been praying for me and it was Jesus who was responsible for my improvements!

As far as the additional physiotherapists go, it was Jordan who didn't want these not me. He said we didn't need anyone else and he was also worried they'd steal his technique!

With regard to the immigration aspect I mentioned to Jordan in confidence that I might have to renew my permanent residency status in Canada as I'd been out of the country for a while but then I talked to 2 immigration lawyers and they gave me different information. Jordan had no concerns for his country (another lie), he used what I told him against me OUT OF SPITE when I refused to pay his bill. He said he would set the Canadian authorities on me but I never heard a word from them: firstly they wouldn't have let me into the country if they'd had any concerns about me and secondly they certainly wouldn't have discussed a confidential and personal matter such as my immigration with him!

FMF Official Response

#11REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, July 15, 2016

Fortress Mobile Fitness would like to provide an official response to the accusations made by Ms Pittel.  Out of respect for her right to confidentiality we will not discuss personal information other than what has already been disclosed in the above complaint made by Ms Pittel.

My company values integrity and honesty inside of all assessments and ongoing programs. We have been, and will continue to be loyal to our customers.  While I do empathize with her situation, I feel compelled to offer a comprehensive response to her accusations and claims which I provide to the reader below:

As mentioned by Ms Pittel, she possesses a neurologically degenerative condition, wherein improvements will be sparse and often non-permanent.  With this in mind, Ms Pittel’s complaints must be viewed in light of her neurological condition; while some improvements may be made gradually, permanency is not a guarantee with her condition. FMF has never guaranteed Ms Pittel any permanent results; any claim made otherwise is false.

For insurance and liability concerns, be advised that Ms Pittel was medically cleared by her treating physician prior to the start of the program with FMF. All appropriate insurance-related forms were completed and remain on file with FMF.

My position with Ms Pittel since the start of the program was one of both professional and personal integrity. I told Ms Pittel that our goal was to see ongoing improvements in all possible areas. However, due to the severity of her circumstance I reminded Ms Pittel that there would be limitations to our services of in-home training in terms of how effective our services would be for her. She remained determined to utilize our services.

Of her own volition, Ms Pittel chose a rigorous training schedule and was charged the same rate as any other client.

Prior to the start of her program with me, Ms Pittel was fully aware of her own physical limitations as well as the aforementioned limitations to in-home training. Ms Pittel was fully informed of the risks of the program prior to the first official session and signed a liability waiver further indicating her awareness of what was being offered via our services. This waiver and all appropriate paperwork remain on file with FMF.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of her condition, physical “high-points” that occur during a program are often followed shortly thereafter by neurological declines. During her program, daily assessments were made of her physical status. She was seen over the course of the program to have been making minor improvements in the way of physical control over her hip-extensor muscles. This was the primary goal within the first month of training. In our program, Ms Pittel’s performance steadily improved to the point of a peak and then began to decline. Because of her condition, permanency of results and the ultimate goal of “standing” was unachievable; this decline led Ms Pittel to end her contract with FMF.

The severity of her condition was such that I encouraged Ms Pittel to seek treatment with physiotherapists from other reputable companies near to her living area in Vancouver.  Furthermore, professionals were brought in at our prompting to provide on-site physiotherapy for her. Unfortunately, each professional brought in by myself and FMF was deemed “incompetent” by Ms Pittel. Additionally, she failed to pay these professionals who were brought in with her prior consent.  Despite Ms Pittel’s assessment of the competency of said physiotherapists, we stand behind the recommendations made during the program that she should seek the assistance of physiotherapy and more advanced solutions.

The accusation made by Ms Pittel regarding her residency is very serious and one which I will speak to. FMF greatly values the legal validity of citizenship status and proper entry into the country. I believe that immigration which occurs illegally should be rightfully scrutinized by all Canadian citizens. I received a comment from Ms Pittel near the end of her program regarding her Canadian citizenship. The comment was such that her ongoing Canadian citizenship was dependent upon her physical improvements. Subsequently, Ms Pittel implied that her citizenship was dependent upon whether or not we would be successful in helping her regain her mobility. This pending issue regarding her citizenship was undisclosed to myself at the start of the program. I followed up on this comment as a part of our corporate responsibility and right as a reputable Canadian Company. I hold to my actions of professional integrity throughout this incident.   I greatly empathize with Ms Pittel as her condition is truly life altering and appreciate the reality of her current situation.  I assert that the utmost professionalism was maintained throughout her entire program.

Ms Pittel regularly attested to my professionalism and competency during the program. Ms Pittel was a returning customer of FMF and purchased multiple packages of sessions over the course of several months. Throughout this time, she spoke to the professional competency and services of both myself and FMF training. Her frequent email conversations stand as documented evidence to this fact. These, along with her regular verbal communications, indicate a strong level of satisfaction throughout the program.

It has always been my goal to treat my clients with the utmost respect and train them in a professional and dedicated manner.  Multiple testimonials and references attest to this fact and can be viewed online at our website.

I wish Ms Pittel nothing but the best in her future efforts for physical recovery and advancement.

I 'popped up' as you assert because I was doing a search for his website to ask him some questions and happened upon your complaint on this website.  I felt that I should respond with my own experience. Afterall you're not offering a shred of proof to substantiate this

Your accusations do not corrolate remotely with my personal experience with Jordan and FMF plus your tone is utterly vitriolic  and crass which decreases your credibility.

Won't bother chatting any more with you.

No he's not, he's a naive rritating money and Christ obsessed weirdo, impossible to communicate with and actually slightly (((REDACTED))) - he doesn't understand the simplest of things. He's so immature and unprofessional too - threatening to report me to the Canadian authorities for no reason whatsoever just because I disputed a bill, he was supposed to be helping me and lookng after my interests not trying to hurt me - some Christian, he's a nasty bit of work. In fact you probably are Jordan or his brother posing as a client, it's exactly the sort of thing he would do to protect his reputation. Whoever you are you aren't genuine anyway because you popped up the day I told him I posted the report.
