I bought 2 "portraits"; one for me and my daughter and one for her and her fiance. We went to the sitting and picked out our vintage costumes. I was uncomfortable even with this; they seemed to be not very clean and there was only 2 to choose from. The hat the guy gave me for my dress did not match; he assured me it would look ok in the sepia tones I had chosen. My daughter tried to pull her hat down a tad and he told her not to. We quiestioned him at the time about choosing the pose and he said they would choose it for the canvas picture we had chosen. We were skeptical about that and told him of our concerns about it not being the best pose. He told us that was his way of making money--by choosing the best portrait and making us happy so we would buy the rest of the package. It was 3 weeks before we got to come back. For mine, he had "chosen" the one of me with my eyes almost shut!!! We expressed our concern/anger and he said there was nothing we could do. Of course then he shows us the "good" pictures that he wanted us to buy. I wouldn't of given him one more red cent!!! He was very non-chalant and unsympathetic. I guess he was used to hearing it. My daughter's picture was pretty good but he tried to give her a different size than she had ordered. We didn't even allow him to show us her other ones after we got the right one. I'm calling Sam's Club vendor contact Monday to express my concern/anger over this. If they can't make it right I'll not renew my membership with them in the future.
