I would like to respond to the complaints that have been posted on this site in the past. First of all, not only myself, but over a hundred employees have gone to upper management, Legal, and compliance at FFG asking for permission to respond to the few complaints on this site. In every instance the corporate stance is that FFG will not respond to a complaint unless it comes from the BBB or a state regulatory agency such as a states Department of Banking and Finance. I would like to set the record strait for any customers reading these complaints that:

1. Foundation Financial has closed well over a Billion dollars in mortgage transactions. The amount of complaints on this site pale in comparison to the percentage of complaints by other MAJOR mortgage lenders. (put in the name of any other lender such as Countrywide, Quicken loans, Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual).

2. Right now the lending industry is in TOTAL disarray. Home values are plummeting and homeowners are losing their home equity by the month. Foundation Financial is honest and upfront about the appraisal process. FFG does not profit one penny from the appraisal process. Unfortunately, with home values dropping, many homes are appraising today for less than what they did in the past. At times, customers get angry with this and place that blame and their frustrations on Foundation Financial. We have an extremely high closing ratio, but when you deal with the volume of clients that we do, many are not able to be helped due to values falling.

3. There are literally hundreds of employees that have posted internal emails requesting to respond to these posts and the corporate response has always been: "we speak with our actions, not our words". I believe that this is a noble Idea, and I believe that it is visionary concepts like this that has allowed this company to have literally THOUSANDS of satisfied customers with VERY few complaints. I have been with this company for over 3 years and I am risking my job by posting this, but on behalf of hundreds of employees love and care about this company, and who are helping thousands of customers through EXTREMELY difficult times I felt no other choice than to write this.

You can visit (((link redacted))) if you ever want to see a TRUE snapshot of the mortgage industry in general. It is a sight that has been on NBC, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, etc. Foundation Financial has been rated by this VERY CREDIBLE industry source as "A" rated. FFG is listed in two sections as one the top 5 NON-imploded lenders in the United States.

Thank You,

I worked at FFG for a number of years. Now i first will say great people have worked there, few do now. the owner of the company trains his team leads (not underwriters which you may have been told you was talking to) to basicly trick people into doing loans. I was trained to do this.

Now most people who work at ffg have never worked in this industry prior. they trick you into thinking you will make 100k a year if you do the job in the way they tell you. If you do the job the way they tell you, you will make 50k to 60k... not a bad pay but what you dont know is that you will work slave type hours. like 70+ hrs a week.

With the people they hire they also make you believe this the way you are soppose to close loans. I have sense left ffg and i promise you this is not how you close loans. I have seen closing cost 30% higher than other companys and still close loans with better rates sometimes as any other real mortgage company. (if you can call ffg real...)

Never understood why people address there concerns on this form but i do now, because at ffg they trained us for ripoffreport.com. They paid to get on this other site saying that ffg is one the top rated nonimploded lenders. Anybody who can afford to pay to be on there can be. (Nothing special) read the fine print.

The company has people selling loans who are not lisence to sell them. signing docs for clients, calling goverment offices acting as the borrower to obtain private information. Even goin as far as training team leads on how to best do it.

Now with the new laws coming into effect i dont know what they are going to do. they have these mp (telemarkerters) calling people harrsing them until they answer the phone and tricking them to talk to them so they can attempt to make a sale. with a chance of not making a dollar off the loan when the company makes average of 17k off every loan.

I advise not to do aloan with this company unless you have no choice and if thats the case, the loan you are in now is the best loan for you. I strongly advise you not to work here you will hate it in a month.

Now you might think i hate ffg. i did meet some real cool people at that company, even made some good money (they trained me well). However after i left i started doing business the right way making money the right way. i am much happier now.

Greetings! My name is Mishi.

I am the Senior Marketing and also Long Term Care agent for Foundation Financial Group, Inc. (of Colorado). Not affiliated with any other company by that name.

I am part of a wonderful company called Foundation Financial Group, Inc. The purpose of this letter is to clarify that we are NOT associated with other companies of the same name, "Foundation Financial Group, Inc."

Sadly, companies with the same name as ours have caused some confusion for new and prospective clients.
We are based in Colorado and have no affiliation whatsoever with any other companies of the same name.

We have been successfully assisting our clients with their financial, estate planning, tax planning, and mortgage needs for over 25 years. Our newest addition to services is a full and comprehensive college planning program.

Our business continues to grow by referral only. Our reputation is stellar.

We wish to thank all of our clients, past present and future, for their continued friendship and confidence.

Sincerely,

Mishi

Wow, the ex-employee from Clearwater, Florida hit the nail on the head about FFG.
FFG thought they were going to pull the wool over me in trying to foreclose on our home. You know, in the beginning, we trusted these guys and we thought we were doing the right thing with them..twice, as you have read before, our situation with refinancing with them. We just got the 2nd foreclosure stopped from FFG.

We have it in writing from FFG saying that they did not own the mortgage as it was sold to other investors and they do not know who owns the mortgage. I also have it in writing from the bank and the servicing company that nobody even has a clue to where the assignments went and they dont know who has any legal standing to foreclose. So, what? Are you just pushing the papers through because it had your name on it at one time or another? And you are saying that you can foreclose? huh The foreclosure attorney's just threw their hands up because they know it is wrong. You know it is wrong.

I just wish that more consumers knew what I know now. Mabe it would put a stop to all this scamming that you are doing!!
