Complaint Review: Foundation Financial Group

I got a cold call from 770-615-4408 at my home this evening. The caller ID said "Foundation Finan". The guy said he was from a government agency and that someone was accessing my credit score. He started asking me what I was doing, was I applying for a loan? Why? Was I a first time buyer? etc. I stopped and indicated I was not comfortable giving out all this information when I didn't know who he was representing. I asked if he was a mortgage company interested in getting my business. He gave a vague non-answer and started reciting my credit score, and saying things like "with a credit score as low as yours you're going to need all the help you can get". I asked him to take me off his phone list, and he just kept going with his aggressive sales tactics.

I hung up on him and he called back 2 more times! On the third time, he started leaving nonsense on my voicemail, saying "you're obviously having a bad night", asked me how old I was, and said I was acting like a child. (!!!) I've NEVER come across such an unprofessional company before, and so I was not at all surprised to see these other reports on this website.

The caller refused to give me his full name or even his company's name! Thankfully for the internet I was able to determine that his name is Michael Griffin, and his direct line is 770-615-4408, at Foundation Financial Group.
