We had a sales representative from Foundations Systems of Michigan. I was told if we signed that night we would get a 4% discount. I would have to make a $500 Deposit then to get the discount. Well I looked at him and asked if I could back out and get my money back. He nodded very slightly yes and said yes in a low voice. I thought he may be getting tired, well looking back he said it so low because he did not want any recording devices to pick up his response. We decided to back out 4 business days later and was told it was to late. Now if this salesman was good at his job he would have answered my questions with full detailed answers so the client could make an informed decision. His answer should have been yes, but within 3 business days or yes but you may want to look at the contract ASAP. I guess he is not that good of a salesman seeing he has to resort to gaining the clients trust and trapping them into the contract. We also wrote a letter to the owner of the company and put it in the mail on 2/10/2014 and as of 2/24/2014 have not heard any response. So if you are looking to use FSM your welcome to contact me and I can let you know who my salesperson was.

Foundation Systems of Michigan tried to get me as well. In the fall of 2013 I had them com and quote a driveway repair job.

The original quote was $1500 to level a few sections of driveway that had settled. Their was an erosion issue causing the dirt to wash out under the pads. I decided to wait on the leveling and fix the erosion issue first. I had a sales person from FSofM return in Nov. 2014, about 1 year later. Surprise, the price had gone up to $4500! I was not home so he was speaking with my wife. He explained to her that the demand for the product had gone up and therefore, the price had gone up. He also stated that they wre under quoting previous jobs and losing money. When she responeded by stating she could understand a small increase due to demand and a better understanding of their financial situation, but not 3 times the cost, he started in with the pressure tactics. He asked if there was water in the basement "yet"? And tried to scare her by saying she could end up spending many times more on future foundation repairs if she didn't fix it right away. Needless to say, we decided to pass. Too bad, it sounds like a good product that they use. I guess I should have done the job the first time...

Dave, yes, would like to hear more. Please contact me,   email  phoepep@comcast.net

Foundation systems of Mich also misled, misrepresented the actual problems at a home on Whittier in Grosse Pointe Park, have photos of the real problems and only solution which was not told, explained to homeowners
