After reading glowing reviews of Fox Moving Company and due to the fact they were the best deal in town I decided to hire them to move me into my new house on March 14, 2011. The movers arrived on time and appeared to be very professional.

The day of the move I had to work so I left during the move (my wife remained home). The move took approx. 5 hours which was longer than I felt it should take, but it is what it is.

The next day rolls around and I am going through my things and placing them where I want them when I realize some things are missing. Prior to the move I took pictures of my shoe collection (in boxes and had EVERYTHING accounted for) due to the vast number of shoes. After sorting out my things I come to find out two pairs (which happened to be my most valued) were MISSING!

Upon finding the shoes missing I immediately called and emailed Fox Moving Company and began getting the runaround. I was forced to leave voicemail after voicemail and the owner was very slow in responding. Once the owner responded they claimed to be in the mountains and had a very poor signal.

After the owner of the company didnt want to help I filed a police report, a complaint with the BBB, and the FTC. The FTC has yet to respond, the police said that Fox Moving and Storage's insurance would kick in (which it hasnt), and the BBB (which is a SCAM!!!) claimed it wasnt in their "purview".

So now here it is May and I have not heard back from Fox and I am still without my belongings. I should NOT have to settle with being stolen from. This is completely unacceptable.
