Complaint Review: Fragrance Hut

Fragrance Hut Fragrancehut.com stole my money: they charged my credit card, but never sent me my order and don't respond to inquiries. Vineland New Jersey

I placed an order at fragrancehut.com on June 3, 2007 for over $30. Two days later my credit card was charged the order amount, but the status of the order didn't change on the website.

After I didn't receive anything for two weeks I started contacting the company about my order. They answered one time that there was a "delivery error" and that they will either resend the items or refund me they money. That is all I ever heard from them.

Since then it has been three months and I have sent them multiple e-mails (they do not provide a phone number on their website) which have not been answered. I was not refunded my money nor have I received the items I ordered.

I never received the item or a tracking number. I double-checked the address in the order confirmation e-mail I got and it was correct, so I am not sure what customer error you are suggesting I made. I have had hundreds of items delivered to this address without issues. I also sent FragrenceHut numerous e-mails saying that I did not receive the item or a refund and only got one answer saying that they are trying to recover the package and will contact me with either a refund or redelivery, but this never happenned and all my subsequent e-mails remained unanswered. The post office was having trouble delivering their package due to an error made by customer when ordering. The package was going to be sent back to us but it was corrected and delivered to the customer within 10 days. Normally packages take 2-4 days to arrive but the address given to us was incorrect and that is why there was a delivery error. The customer recieved the package days after filing this report. We have been in business since 2003, it is not our job to rip off a customer for $30 and if it was we would be shut down by now.
