Buying a car from the Framingham Auto Mall was hands down the worst experience of my life. I agreed to their price only because their finance guy promised me I would have the car by the following Friday...he PROMISED. My husband and I continued to call and check the progress throughout the week. We were told everything was fine. On thursday they said a part they had been waiting on had not arrived and the car would not be ready on time.

Fine, these things happen I guess so I dealt with my disappointment and let it go even though throughout the week they had said everything was on schedule. Saturday came and the car still wasn't done. Monday they said the car would be done that day. It wasn't. Tuesday they said the same thing. Still wasn't. My husband and I each called the dealership several times a day. He would sometimes get to talk to someone, I was nearly always ignored.

The "shop manager" (hah!) would keep telling me everything was fine and they were doing what they could. He told me about 3 times the car was done and each time it was a lie, he was just trying to get rid of me. I FINALLY got my car Wednesday night at 10:30pm. The guys who delivered it to me dropped it off and left as quickly as possible. The reason the car was so late was apparently because of a bad tie rod that they couldn't find a replacement for since apparently a car made in 2005 is too obsolete for them to find any parts for (this will be important later on in the story).

Throughout the entire process I kept trying to get in touch with the owner. Whoever answered would tell me that the owner wasn't there very often and they hardly saw him but that I could talk to the Sales Manager. Of COURSE he was ALWAYS busy when I called (much like everyone else there). I left THREE messages for him and he NEVER called me back, not once. I would ask to talk to the financy guy and he would immediately transfer me off to the Shop Manager who would tell me the car was done even though it wasn't.

By the end I was SO sick of being lied to I couldn't take it anymore. When I finally got the car I thought "thank god, it's over". Not true. We went to get the car inspected the Saturday after we got it and it failed IMMEDIATELY because of a faulty e-brake and a bad tie rod, both things any mechanic with half a brain would notice right away. Needless to say the Framingham Auto Mall "mechanics" didn't manage to find these errors.

I called the dealership fuming at having been treated this way. I got the Sales Manager on the phone...ah yes, the same Sales Manager who never returned my calls. I let loose on the guy and he had the nerve to get mad at ME for talking to him unprofessionally. We are now in touch with the owner who I hope will be an example to the rest of his employees and take care of this problem. I will never take the car back to the mechanics there since they clearly can't be trusted to release a safe, reliable car to their customers. Do not buy a car from Framingham Auto Mall unless you enjoy being jerked around.
