I responded to an ad on Craig's List regarding obtaining a business line of credit.  I was contacted by a man named Jason Fin.  I spoke with him on the phone and we discussed all of the details.  The initial fee was $300.00.  If they were able to obtain a credit line the charge would depend on the amount of money of the credit line.  I signed a contract stating these terms.  After I signed the contract Jason Fin dropped off the face of the earth.  I received a letter in the mail.  It was one page--the only information on the page was a SCN (secondary credit number).  My credit card was charged $1300.00 for this.

I tried contacting Jason Fin and had no luck.  Jason had mentioned a man named Frank Haberle was his business partner.  I contacted Frank Haberle and he said that his identity must have been stolen by Jason Fin.  I apologized to Frank Haberle and told him he should contact the police.

The next step was to contact my bank/MasterCard and report the transaction as fraudulent.  I figured that this mysterious Jason Fin was probably gone in the wind.  MasterCard ruled that the charge was legitimate.  I was in shock.  I took a look at the paperwork submitted by the merchant and I could not believe my eyes.  FRANK HABERLE submitted a rebuttal letter along with a copy of the contract that I had signed as proof that it was a legitimate charge.  The same Frank Haberle that told me he had been the victim of identity theft.  I checked the records with the Florida Department of State and the same day (May 10th) that Frank Haberle sent in his rebuttal to MasterCard for the fraudulent claim by me is the same day he registered "New Fresh Start" with the State of Florida.

Unfortunately, these scammers have an advantage because it is hard and costly to get your money back once they steal it from you.  I will be reporting Frank Haberle as a fraudulent merchant to MasterCard and also reporting him to IC3, IRS, BBB, the Florida Attorney General and anyone else that will listen.  If everyone takes the time to report these people maybe some day the scamming will stop!!

Please beware of Frank Haberle, Jason Fin, Steffanie or Steff Haberle (Frank's wife that he had set up his company names with the Florida Department of State--I wonder if she knows she married a scam artist!), New Fresh Start, Body By Design Research and Supplements, www.CytoPhen.com

I searched my name and saw this!! I don't know how or why my name and photo got involved in this or why someone would do something so cruel and slanderous to me or anyone for that matter. Fact is, I do live in Ocoee and the picture is me. I do have interests in Body by Design, New Fresh Start and Cytophen as well as have holdings in several other business interests, charities and various organizations. I do not know, have known, nor am I or have ever been affiliated with anyone by the name of Jason Fin. I was never involved in credit lines or any other business since 2001 when I became disabled during a robbery of one the business I owned in NJ. I would insist that this be removed and I would ask that whomever posted this atrocity please remove it as it is naturally extremely hurtful and embarrassing to me and my family and I would like to regain my good name.
