Advised me that there are multiple offers and required a deposit to hold the vehicle for viewing after 8pm the same day. Did not show up for viewing and continued to avoid multiple calls afterwards. I was defraud replying to a AD for a truck. I had sent a deposit via email transfer to frankthetank770@outlook.com scammers phone number is 647-487-4687. He did not show up, and the neighbor of the meet up location had told me a number of people have been going to the same address 4 Mossbrook cres, Scarborough.
Ontario, then finding out a old man lives in the house and no vehicle exists. The neighbor nextdoor had informed me at the time another couple the week before was scammed with the same location to meet for the purchase of a trailer.
Prior to this experience, I'd like to think humans like this are uncommon, and the chances of being defrauded like this was unlikely. I now know that this not the case.
