First came into contact with Frank McCoy, a hay broker, via a website by the name of hay exchange. We had several e-mails and phone conversations over the course of a few weeks to narrow down what hay was going to be delivered and finally settled on a deal. He explained that we would wire money directly into the farmer's bank account and pay for the trucking separately.

He e-mailed the invoice and within 5 days we had wired the money into the farmer's bank account, Red Barn, on 11/15/2012. Had we researched that name alone prior to purchase we could have saved ourselves a headache and the loss of $3,000. Nonetheless, Frank presented excuse after excuse on why the load hadn't shipped yet, and then when it finally appeared that he had a truck he had the order screwed up. This was the final straw and the order was cancelled on 12/6/2012. Thankfully we hadn't paid for the trucking.

There have been numerous attempts to get him to rewire the money with sporadic responses of, "it's being processed, it will be ready soon, we almost have it ready, etc." No refund to date, and we have proceeded with turning him into the Oregon FBI and our local county sheriff's office.
