Complaint Review: Frank Nuzzo Meridian Equity The Phoenix Group

Frank Nuzzo,

Is soliciting the purchase of CCTC and possibly other small cap easily manipulated companies to unsuspecting investors. In this particular case he solicited the purchase of CCTC to one of my clients requesting that he purchase 200 shares of the company at $15 dollars per share. With the stock only trading a few thousand shares per day and a current market price of @$38 I was suspicious as was my client. Frank had his assistant "Deborah" email my client a bogus stock certificate, legal disclaimer and wiring instructions.

Frank Nuzzo represented himself as a stockbroker working for Meridian Equity upon further investigation I found that there is no such person registered with FINRA (formerly NASD) and Meridan Equity is not actively registered as a brokerage firm. In addition when I tried calling the phone number the answering machine said "Thanks for calling The Phoenix Group".

Upon further review of the rather informal documents received it has been determined that this is purely a scam.

The documents Mr. Nuzzo sent to my client have been forwarded to the Florida office of the SEC for further investigation.
