My complaint is against Loya Home Insurance AKA(Fred Loya), on 03/18/2014, I receive a letter from the insurance stating that I have pre-exisiting damages to my home. I was hereby given notice that repairs to the damages must be complete within 30 days of this notice. Failure to do so will result in non-renewal of my policy.

I called Loya Insurance company and I told employee that I didn't understand the letter that was mailed to me. I told the employee that I had been a customer since 2007 and I had only made one claim and that was in 2008 due to Hurricane Ike. I stated to her that I had all the damages repaired in 2008, and any damages that has occurred is due to all the bad weather we have been received 2013 and this year.

The employee told me that I had 30 days to repairs all damages to my home and take photos and bring them to one of their locate offices. I stated to her, if y'all are telling me that I have damages to my home, y'all should have the photos. I stated to the employee, why would y'all send me a letter stating that I have pre-existing damages, if y'all haven't been to my home.

I stated to the employee, I cannot afford to do any repairs to my home in 30 days. I also stated to her if they wanted me to do any repairs to my home, I would need to file a claim. Because I have shingles from my roof missing due to the high winds that occurred in April of this year. I also stated that the front of my home has water damages due to all the rain that we had this year.

I also told the employee that I did not have a camera, but I have my cell phone and I could email or message them the photos of my home. The employee stated that I could not email or fax or mail any photos to any Loya Insurance company. She stated that I would have to come into one of their locate office, I stated to the employee that I did not have time to come into one of their offices. I asked the employee, if someone from their office could come to my home and take the photos. The employee said "NO", I would have to take the photos.

I asked her to mail me a letter stating what photos they needed of my home. The employee stated, she could not mail me a letter of any repairs/damages because it was pretaining to 2008. I stated to the employee that none of this make sense, if y'all need photos of my home, I need to know what was needed. The employee told me to take photos of my entire house inside and out. I told her this was the insurance company job, not mine. My mortgage company pays my  home Insurance on time every year. I'm sure part of taking photos is the Insurance company job.

However, I tried to comply with them, I mailed them a certified letter/regular letter requestingt that they mail me a letter of the photos that they needed me to take. I also mailed them a photo of the entire outside of my home.

To make a long story short on 04/21/2014, I received a letter from Loya Insurance Comapny canceling my policy. Which none of this sounds legal to me. I need to know what I can do legally to this company.

With the Texas Department of Insurance.  This company has been fined in the past and they are nothing but trash insurance who caters to illegals.
