I am very upset with a company/website called Free Lotto. I see that you have had several other complaints about them so I thought I would include mine.

I am on a permanent disablitily and I only receive a small amount of money per month to live on so imagine my extreme happiness when I received an email from Free Lotto telling me I was the winner of the daily draw for $1,000,000.00 in U.S. Funds.

My heart was pounding through the roof. I assumed that since Free Lotto is a site that is viewed and played at by thousands of people on the net, that it was a legitamate company.

I responded to them and did what they told me to do. I sent an email with my personal particulars. I even called the person listed. I made a very long distance phone call to Europe and the person there told me I would be emailed the rest of the instructions the next day.

I then became a bit leary because I've never heard of other lottos having to wait and get so much info etc.
Then the bomb dropped, along with my heart. The email and form they sent me told me that I had to pay $520 Euros for one thing and another $520 for something else. I was obviously very upset at this and tried to contact them asking why I would have to pay money and that I've never heard of that before and I asked for names and addresses of some previous winners. Well, suffice to say, I haven't heard back from them.

I've gone as far as contacting their affiliates listed on their site and so far two of them have emailed me back saying that they are NOT in any way, shape or form part of them.

I really would like to pursue this and would even like to go as far as having them banned from the internet. Could you please offer me any advice on how to do so or if you can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

They should be ashamed of themselves for building up dreams in people for a better life and then popping them without blinking an eye.

This is not FreeLotto, these people want is your money and your personal info so they can steal even more money

My friend, you are being phished. I got an email just like that today (two, in fact, but only one was claiming to be from FreeLotto).

What these people want is your money and your personal info so they can steal even more money from you. DO NOT give them any of your information; this is an attempt at stealing your identity and/or cash.

The email you got was from a scam artist, and they have absolutely no affiliation with FreeLotto or PlasmaNet whatsoever. Sorry to take the wind out of your sails, but you did not win a million dollars. Watch yourself out there!
