Freecreditreport.com Be aware of this site! I was charged $14.95 2 times and did not authorize them to use my credit card. Luckily, i caught it and filed a dispute with my credit company and was reimbursed. Do not use this site to get a credit report, go directly to the credit bureaus yourself and get one.Although I was reimbursed by my credit card company Internet
Although I was reimbursed by my credit card company, it took approximately 2 weeks for the dispute to go through. What made me really pissed off was the fact that they stated that they would NOT use any of the info I gave them, nor would I ever be charged, as the report was "free". If you have gone through this site to attain a "free" credit report, be sure to check all credit card statements, you may be charged as well and never know it.

You were lucky your credit card company reversed the charges.
Here's what's on the main page of their website:
""IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
When you order your free report here, you will begin your free trial membership in Triple AdvantageSM Credit Monitoring. If you don't cancel your membership within the 7-day trial period*, you will be billed $14.95 for each month that you continue your membership.
ConsumerInfo.com and Freecreditreport.com are not affiliated with the annual free credit report program. Under a new Federal law, you have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies. To request your free annual report under that law, you must go to www.annualcreditreport.com.""
Sooner or later, the credit card companies are going to STOP reversing the charges when folks claim to have NOT KNOWN or didn't authorize the membership.
I'm glad you got your money back, but don't try to tell us here that you didn't know. The website has had this statement on the main page for MONTHS now.
