Complaint Review: ConsumerInfo.com

I signed up for a free credit report and was waiting for an email confirmation and after 10 days i called to see what was going on. I first spoke to a cust. rep. that needed my ss #, full name, and mothers maiden name. i was a little apprehensive and then he stated he had to transfer me to someone else to give me the passcode over the phone.

after waiting 5 minutes she got on and i could barely hear her and stated this. she was extremely rude, un-believably rude!! i cancelled it on the spot and told her there was no reason for her attitude. and this was after i gave her my ss# and current address. now im scared of someone stealing my info more than ever...WWW.FREECREDITREPORT.COM is a horrible business...stay away!!
