FreeCreditReport.com advertises a free credit report(Experian). If you keep the service it is $12.95 per month after the first month. After you register for their service they advertise that you can get a "three credit bureau report" with your credit scores for $24.95.

This is the problem. Their solication implies that for $24.95 you are upgrading your "one credit bureau report" to a "three credit bureau report" with credit scores for a monthly charge of $24.95. That is not what you receive. What you get is an opportunity to view three credit bureau reports with credit scores ONE time only!!!

FreeCreditReport.com charged me $24.95 twice within about a 10 day period until I found out that I was not paying a monthly charge but a one time service charge. I complained and asked for a refund of $24.95 for only one of the charges as they did not disclose their offer truthfully. They basically told me to pound sand and they would not give me any refund. They never once disputed my email claim that their offer was false and misleading--only they were keeping my money.
