Complaint Review: Freecreditreport.com

In July I wanted to qualify for a loan so I was told by a friend to try free credit report.com because the friend thought it was actually free from the commerical. I was struggling with money problems and when I went to the web site it seemed to be free. I ordered one free credit report but instead they sent me 3 and charged me 24.95. They admitted an error was made but refused to refund my money.

I wrote to their customer care center, called, and did everything I could do, but these people do not care and will not issue a refund once they get your money. They were notified immediately about the error. They pass the buck from one person to the next, every time you contact them you get someone else, never the same person. They also send you form letters to let you know that you have been made a sucker.

I would never use this company or recommend them. They have a B rating with BBB which shocked me because the BBB has 5,000 complaints for them. Once they get your money you might as well kiss it goodbye. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
