THIS COMPANY IS ALL OVER THE TV ADVERTISING NIGHLY HOW THEIR SERVICE IS FREE AND IT IS NOT. THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE. WHEN YOU GO TO THEIR SITE THEY WANT TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD 14.99 FOR THE SERVICE WHEN THERE ARE FREE SERVICES OUT THERE, SUPPOSEDLY ANNUALCREDITREPORT.COM IS FREE BUT THAT SITE JUST MALFUNCTIONS, SO I GUESS NOTHING IS FREE. NOTHING.

Karen, you MUST read the fine print on ANY offer these days!

Karen,

If you listen to the disclaimer they slide in that advertisement you would know there is a catch.
Here it is:
"FREE...with enrollment in Triple Advantage" This is where you are supposed to think, what is this thing they are calling triple advantage?

And, the disclaimer on the website clearly spells it out in writing. You just have to read it.

It is deceptive, but not illegal. They are banking [literally] on the fact that people do not pay attention to detail, and do not read fine print.

And, you DO NOT have to go to annualcreditreport.com to get your free reports. You can call each credit bureau directly and ask for your free annual credit report and just tell them you do not have internet access. Note that the FREE reports provided for by law, DO NOT include scores.
