I normally buy 1000 rounds per month via AMMOSEEK.  I have always had excellent luck and service with their vendors.  Freedom Ammunition, NOT Freedom Munitions, advertised new ammunition at a reasonable price.  I ordered my usual 1000 round of 9mm Luger from them.

This occurred in mid October, a bit less than 3 weeks before Halloween.  By Thanksgiving, I had sent numerous emails and left several voice messages to no avail.  Finally I received an email from Dejan stating that because I'd ordered from warehouse "C" It wouldn't be shipped out until 11/25/16.

When I ordered, there was NO mention of anything being backordered.  That information did not show up until I received my receipt.  How convenient.

Finally, I get an email saying that the ammo has been shipped. But when I requested a tracking number, I got nothing.  Not a peep.

So now they have my money, I'm not getting anything from them other than delay tactics and stalls.  I finally began fraud proceedings with my credit card company and then, Magically, I get a notice with a tracking number.

The box arrives just before Christmas, and instead of a manufacturer’s box, I get a plain brown carton with what is clearly not new ammunition.  Some are brass, some are plated brass.  So, I paid for new, got reman and its crappy reman.  In the transaction this is the part that's good.

I take it to the range and this is where it gets bad.  First, the only time my hands get this dirty from shooting is when I use my black powder rifle during hunting season.  This stuff is literally the dirtiest powder I've ever had come out of my cartridge; so much so, that I have to wipe it down and wipe down my magazines during a session.

Here comes the ugly. 1 out of 7 cartridges are a dud.  The primer is dimpled, but nothing happens.  So far, I have 2 Jiff peanut butter jars with the duds in them.  If I get enough, I may have a friend re-primer them.

So, here is the recap:

Not new. - 2 month delivery times - worthless customer service - disreputable & deceptive business practices - subpar primers – cheap, dirty burning powder - BUT you pay for new ammo.

AMMOSEEK no longer lists this business on their roster.  Apparently, many people were not pleased with them either.
