Complaint Review: Freedom Financial Services

I received a letter from this so called company along with a check in the amount of $3,680.85, which looks pretty authentic. The correspondence states that it is based out of Texas, however, the envelope is stamped Canada (with a Christmas stamp?). The letter states that I have won $40,000.00 and a 7 day vacation cruise to the Caribbean Island of the Bahamas. The enclosed check is to enable me to pay for my processing fee. The letter is signed Josephine Scott. Please be on the look out for this type of correspondence and remember, if you truly have won something, there will be no processing fee. Anything that looks too good to be true, usually is!
