Complaint Review: FREEDOM HOMES/ CLAYTON MOBILE HOMES

I will try to make a long story short.

On 6-24-08 me and my husband signed the BIGEST mistake of our life. We were shown a 3 bedroom 2 bedroom NEW doublewide that was already set up on 1.87 acres and ready to move in. We bought it it and all was good until first rain. It caused massive amounts of standing rain in front and back yard. After informing the General Manager he said he would send someone out. 2 1/2 months later he sent out a landscaper. The land scaper informed me he was aware of the standing water as they had drove by my house after a rain.

OK He just wanted to ok with me the improvements to be done. GM was only approving the extending of my front flower bed to solve the problem in the front yard. AND WAS NOT GOING TO FIX THE BACK YARD AS HE (GENERAL MANAGER WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT).

After several neighbors telling me that this property always had standing water and Freedom Homes had problems obtaining a septic approval for this property, my surch for information began. I went to obtain copies from HEALTH DEPARTMENT of all activity on this property, including septic permit.

After 3 months Freedom Homes recieved approval for septic FOR A MAXIMUM OF 2 BEDROOMS. We by no means have a 2 bedroom. There is A SIGNED AFFIDAVIT BY FREEDOM HOMES THAT THEY WILL DISCLOSE THIS INFO TO ANY HOMEBUYER.

They never informed us that our 125,000.00 home was now only a 2 bedroom in the state and counties eyes and that this could affect the septic usage and value of our "home". After informing them that I know they lied and mislead me NOW they want to fill in my yard to make me happy.

OK Happy is gone. Happy I will never be. I will sue you and make sure everyone knows how you have hurt me and my family. Dirt can never fix the TRUE problem. My house value just dropped by at least 50,000.00 as if a "mobile home" wasnt bed enough. My house went from a 3 to a 2 bedroom with out my knowledge.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. MY DREAMS ARE GONE AND NOW MUST FIND A LAWYER.
