I purchased this health insurance and was told that my premiums would be locked in for 3 years.  During the consultation, I was shown an example as to what my bill would be if I went within the network.  I thought Wow!  A tremendous savings.

The time arrives when I have to use the insurance and the coverage was next to none although I was within the network.  One visit was to the ER in December of 2013 and I received an explanation of benefits.  The insurance covered the room and not the doctor. 

 I'm thinking to myself, what type of crap is this. In case of an emergency, our you supposed to ask if the doctor who will be seeing you is within network?

Since then, I have cancelled, but just yesterday I received 3 explanations of benefits from Freedom from the December visit and also from services provided January 2014.  My question is, why has it taken so long for me to receive this.  I strongly believe that since I cancelled the insurance, my claims are being denied.  Meanwhile, I have nearly 900.00 in bills that I now have to pay in addition to almost 600.00 from the original explanation of benefits.

This insurance isn't worth the paper it was written on.  They plan automatically includes life insurance and some coalition that gives you discounts for different things, but pays nothing for your health expenses.

Don't Waste your money!!!!
