Having accurately detailed all movable items TWICE on the phone with an agent who promised everything,(including delivery around the 25th of May 2006) she estimated the moving cost from MN to KY to be approximately $3100.00. However, when delivered almost three weeks later, they required approximately $5800.00 before starting unloading. A very substantial difference, while the national average of charge differential is below 15%.

The pick-up time was scheduled and agreed upon for May 23rd, between 8:00 amd 12 noon. Giving repeated excuses, the truck arrived finally on the 24th at 8:00PM. Having left them and assuming that they would start and finish loading, the two men went to sleep in my house. I woke them twice the next morning but they did not finish loading until approximately 3PM on May 25. They made me sign various papers and agreements, evaluations of their work, etc. PRIOR to loading. They also pressured for a tip that was supposed to amount to 15% ot 20% of the total initally projected charges of $3100.00. They did not receive any and we may have paid a penalty for that.

Our furniture was not delivered to the KY location until June 12, 2006, at 12 noon. We were not called until Sunday June 11th 3:00 PM of the projected delivery time.
The truck was reloaded (according to the driver) in Indiana, where it was in storage for some incomprehensible reason, with extreme carelessness and negligence. Things were thrown in and many items, amongst others a large TV, were broken. Several valuable items, such as a box of CDs, an air compressor, and a piano key-board with stand, were missing.
They required signatures that they had unloaded everything, which is naturally an impossible fact to verify at that moment.

We have sent repeatedly letters and FAXes to the company, several times to the CEO Yaniv Grudman (8601 Dunwoody Pl #340, Atlanta, GA 30350; FAX: 678 461 3552). He never responded to any of our concerns, questions, or requests. Having worked for the US Government this is my 8th State and by far this was the most negligent, most costly, most careless, and most unreasonable company I ever used. This company deserves to be put out of business!

I was thinking that too Sharon!!!
She must be the only person in customer service, and obviously she is very busy at the moment defending the company... how can she be expected to actually solve the issues! Lol.

Maria!

You must be tired after responding to all four of these complaints tonight! Coming up with all sorts of excuses to blame the customer for everything that your company did wrong? That takes a lot of thinking. I'm sure Haim appreciates it.

In regards to this complaint and after reviewing this customers file, this is our side of the story.

Customer spoke to sales rep providing a list of the items that he was shipping. That list contained 143 Items. The driver did not get to the customers location for pick up on the date agreeded upon due to machanical failures of the truck.

In our contract, it states that we are not responciable for mechanical failures. Drive picked up OVER 200 Items. That is OVER 60 Items MORE than what the customer advised us of. It is abovious what the disvrepency is.

This is why the crew worked till 3pm the next day. On this paticular move, Customer did not pay for a guaranteed delivery date, which put his delivery schedule to receive shipement with in 2 - 14 business days of the day he was ready to accept delivery. This is in the order for service that he accpeted on the day of the reservation. We deliveried with in the stated time frame.

Customer signed paperwork stating that "although a tip is gratutive, it is never MANDATORY.

If customer has missing items or damaged items, we have a claims dept. The last time we checked on claims, she had filed his claim and the process had be taken care of.
