Freedom on Line, LLC made phone contact and the interviewer/salesman stated in was an affiliate of Fortune 500 Group.

The offer was to buy up to 3 websites to market consumer products, travel packages and mortgage offers. The websites would not have only a one-time setup fee with no weekly, monthly or annual maintenance fees ever to be paid. The major commitment was to buy advertising for the websites in return for commissions of 2-40%. A advertising specialist would be assigned to assist in driving traffic to the websites. The specialist would require additional funds over time to continue these functions.

If not satisfied, for any reason, the salesman stated that a refund of the intial setup fee was guranateed for up to 12 months. The company was contacted in regard to the forms received. They were contractual in nature and also they requesten my TIN for federal taxes (W-9.) In the terms and conditions document, it was stated that a refund/cancellation request must be filed, in writing, within 5 CALENDAR DAYS (from the time payment was processed 9/2/08) to be allowed. The form was received on Thursday afternoon (9/4//08) and the company was called on Friday morning (9/5/08). This left 2 days to research the company, not having received any information from them, make a decision on whether or not to cancel the deal, prepare a letter and fax it to the company by 9/7/08, a Sunday.

This is really an unacceptable response time for the client/customer to make an informed decision and fax a response to the company. Since I was lied to about the GUARANTEED buyback period and the company sets its deadlines in business days and the customer's deadlines in calendar days, I decided not to continue affiliations with these companies.

Unfortunately, as a result of a lack of information provided by the author of this complaint, we at the Fortune 500 Group cannot fully respond with an accurate answer in regards to the services specifically provided. If we were provided a more specific name, this issue would be researched and resolved accordingly.

I can say that as a time proven corporation we cannot always make every consumer satisfied with their purchase just as in other business entity. We make every effort to resolve any and all client concerns in a time efficent manner that meet and exceed their expectations. We literally have thousands upon thousands of customers nationwide that are 110% satisfied with our product and our customer service efforts. If the author can provide their name to our office, these complaints will be addressed specifically.
