I'm starting to feel the run around by Freedom Rent To Own and scammed because I'm not getting anywhere. This process began with them online. I completed their three steps which forced you to do a credit check with Score Sense (free 7 day trial, then they charge you $30/month). I did that. Freedom Rent To Own then contacted me and referred me to Lexington Law and said once I received my case # to call Freedom RTO back with that number and they would send me email with website, log in and password instructions. I never got that to view their online listing for homes. I've called several times and keep getting hung up on numerous times or very vauge answers. I called back last night and was given a log in and pswd but it doesn't work on their site, www.freedom-renttoown.com. When I called back again just now and spoke to Jaunita, agent 955, she confirmed the site I was on from the email I got from Freedom RTO which was  www.getrenttoown.com and said if log in and pswd doesn't work to contact the number on THAT site. It didn't work and I called the number on the site and they told me they weren't even the same company, that they were their competitor!!! I called back to Freedom-Rent To Own, and my agent is conveniently unavailable. I left a message for Juanita to call me back, she has yet to do so. I'm anxious to search the listings. I'm simply frustrated. I'm getting the run around. I just want to search for homes to possibly rent to own. Not sure how much knowledge anyone has or knows about this. Someone please help me! Their main number is 866-826-6119 . At this point, not even sure if Lexington Law is taking our money claiming they are fixing our credit. Sigh.....

Lexington Law is not going to help either. They will appear like they are doing something for the first month or two but then the items come back on your report.

Do some research on Lexington Law and you will see plenty of complaints. Better for you to do it yourself than to hire some bogus credit repair outfit that charges you monthly fees or even tries to charge you an up front fee (not legal).

You can do better yourself by researching how to repair and rebuild your own credit. There are legitimate websites to guide you in the right direction.
