In October 2002, a call placed to me with a promise of a credit card for the aount of 2,500.00. This was great since I was rebuilding my credit. I was hesitant and than in the end I agreed to have the 221.95 fee taken out of my checking account.

This transaction was to take place on December 6, 2002. I called Freedom Resource early morning on the 6th to tell them I wasn't ready for this card and would like to have the transaction cancelled. This transaction had already taken place and my bank was not even opened for business yet.

Numerous times I tried to call and call and call. I was unable to get in touch with them. Finally, one day I did. January 2003 extremely pissed off because I did not receive my package as promise. I was then told that the status of my package had been cancelled and was given the opportunity to have a refund sent.

A letter arrived in the mail late January and I filled it out. I didn't mail it because I had been wrestling with the idea of maybe giving them one last time to send my credit card. Well, I tried contacting my directory to get their phone number, but none was listed.

Time passed and we are now in late March and I decided to look on the internet for a possible phone number or email address. I click on this website and was very relieved to see that others were scammed the same way. I then decided to file a complaint with this site and report my misfortune to others.
