Complaint Review: freedom Resource

Mark Oneal, a representative from Freedom Resources, contacted me around August 10,2002 about a credit card that I had been approved for. The fee was $221.95 with )% interest forever.

I agreed to this because I was told there job is to help people to reestablish their credit. I gave them permission to debit my checking account and it took another two weeks for it to be cleared by them and it cleared thru my bank on August 23,2002.
I
have called them on a daily basis to cancel my account and get the money redeposited into my account before my sixty days are up and still have to fight with them on a daily basis to try to get my money back.

I tried to get them to cancel my account before the money was taken out of my acount and I was told there was nothing they could do until my account showed paid. That is the biggest line of crap I have ever heard and when you call the company you are on hold more than what you get to talk to someone. THis company is a scam.
