Complaint Review: Freedom Resource

A fast talker called my office and rattled off benefits for a wonderful credit card for only $229.00.

fter I stupidly agreed and gave my information the monies were taken out of my checking account that day (this was over a year ago). Once I received the package in the mail I noticed this credit card was only good through magazines they sent me to order from, I called well within the cancellation guideline and was assured that I would recieve a full refund.

To make a long story short I have been calling these people since October 2002 and always told either the checks were only written once a month and would be cut then, the check was actually in the mail (one month later I called and they said they had to put a stop on the check supposedly sent and would recut another one on the next check run.)

Now I can't get anyone to answer. Once you go into the refund line #3 on the phone it automatically hangs up or you are on hold for 1/2 hour before being disconnected.
