Freedom Resources promised $2,500 credit card, charged my debit account for $221.95, never sent me my card! con artist fake ripoff Nationwide Nationwide
In December I was called on the phone by a company calling themselves Freedom Resources. They promised me a credit card with a $2,500 credit limit, no annual fees, no interest. I thought I would give it a try and agreed to pay them $221.95 for a start up fee.
They took the money directly form my checking account. After about a month I still had not recieved my card, so I continued to call their customer service number every week. They kept giving me excuses. Finally I told them that I wanted a refund. They told me to call back in 5 business days. I called back and there is nothing but dead air on the customer service number and the web site now reads:
You have reached a privately owned domain.
It has has never been open to the public.
It does not sell anything.
It has never sold anything.
Whatever domain you think this is, it is not this one!
I am now planning on filing a fraud report.
