Complaint Review: Freedoms First

Freedomsfirst.org is off the internet. Updates here at freedomsfirstrally.blogspot.com. We understand now that there is a good chance this Rally will not take place. However, other groups will be participating on these dates, Sept. 12 and 13 2009. We had heard a high elected official wanted this Rally stopped. The government did not want to be embarrassed by UFOs flying close to the Capitol.

Now Dave has filed a freedom of information request on all permits being issued at this time. Steve has said he has a permit for one million people, and if he says it, that is good enough for me. I am sure Dave when your request comes back, you will see Steve has a permit for one million in good order!

Steve is a true patriot. A self less Fire Fighter, Steve put himself in the trenches to help at the Pentagon and the World Trade Center after 911. Instead of being mocked or disparaged, Steve should be held up as what a good leader is about: honesty, collaboration and action. This recent government action won't keep Steve down, sure freedomsfirst.org is shut down now, but Steve will rise like the proverbial Phoenix to help save America!

UPDATE: 7/13/09

The Completed FOIA request for all permit applications is on the desk of the chief legal counsel of the National Parks Service for sign off. The documents will be placed in the mail to me on Thursday.

As someone who has been in nearly daily contact with the "accused"...Steven Domina, of FreedomsFirst...and has personally verified several key pieces of evidence that lend to his veracity as founder of FreedomsFirst and the efforts and funds expended thus far to execute the 12-13 September Rally for the Constitution, and as of this date has yet to see a single shred of "evidence" of any alleged wrong-doing on his behalf, I remain firm in my conviction that Steven Domina and FreedomsFirst are not only legitimately organizing this event, but are not in any way "scamming" a single person or organization. More facts are forthcoming in the next few days that I have no doubt will further validate the legitimacy of FreedomsFirst and the plans for the Rally for the Constitution.

As far as any wrong doing on the part of those who have spread these unsubstantiated rumors, the forthcoming evidence will hopefully set the record straight and it is my hope that the organizations these individuals represent will take the appropriate action to rectify the situation and assist FreedomsFirst in repairing the damage that has been done and will then be willing to work with FreedomsFirst to ensure the events planned for September are not only able to press forward but will be highly succesful, history-making events.

Until such time as all pertinent information has been collected and reviewed, it is extremely inappropriate to give credence to the accusations of anyone, particularly someone who has presented nothing to substantiate what was posted on the Internet and will not even show his or her face. The truth will be learned and only then will we know for sure who is responsible and for what. If we react to the rumors, which is what the statements currently are, we are doing a terrible disservice to Steve and his organization. I doubt that any of us would like to be judged in such a manner so I suggest that we all calm down and either work toward seeking the truth or at least wait for the truth to be known so as not to continue fanning the flames that have already started.

Unfortunately it has been learned that an organization, Freedoms First who's website can be found at http://freedomsfirst.org/ is not lawfully collecting money in that they do not have the proper legal steps in place to collect funds for the DC March planned in September. They are siphoning off funds from unsuspecting patriots.

Instead of using ResistNet.com Donate buttons on their site, they are advertising they are working in conjunction with ResistNet.com to collect funds and organize the March in DC in September!

BEWARE THEY ARE A SCAM ORGANIZATION who has been involved in scamming for YEARS.

They claim that ResistNet.com and FreedomWorks are co-sponsors.

They are a new organization and have applied for all the steps. You have time...you can collect and apply as long as when it is all approved it will be accounted for. I say we allow the investigation and remember that we are innocent until proven guilty. They have been working their rears off and do not have the money in donations they have needed for the deposits for their actual rally. Their rally is at another location from ours.

You shouldn't allow them to post their own links for money. They do not have any paperwork at all in order, we already checked. They aren't even incorporated at all and the paypal button sends money into a private person's account. I am reporting them.

Even if fund-raising is planned for a regional or national organization, its written permission should be obtained before planning is complete. The unauthorized use of an individual's or organization's name or likeness could lead to a lawsuit for libel, defamation, misappropriation of trademark or copyright or fraud. It isn't wise to tack on a well known charity's name to an event or advertising in the hope that it will draw more donations. An attorney can draft the appropriate permission and consent forms to memorialize the entity's or individual's written consent to the use of their name and photo and to the type and nature of the event or collection.

There already has been some, Freedoms First in PalTalk already refunded some people who gave and a huge argument blew up in http://Paltalk.com they are now in another room because PalTalk shut them down, now they are in a room called Preserving our Constitution and operating out of there, posting their link and trying to drum up money, against PalTalk Terms of Service. They have to own a paid room to run a charity or solicit donations.

WOW !!!!!! Cheryl you really do lie... Freedoms First was not shut down .. Steve closed the room to join with Preserving Our Constitution working together for "We The People". Pal talk never closed them down. I am thinking you must be the person that Pal Talk did close 3 of the rooms down, either yours or your friends.... Boo h*o go cry somewhere else... What is it about "Rumors, speculation, or innuendo unless you have personal knowledge that your statements are true" the complainant doesn't understand. That is one of the rules here. (Rip Off Reports Terms of Service)

How did the the Complainant get "Ripped Off" to justify this report? WHERE ARE THE FACTS TO SUPPORT THE COMPLAINT? I contributed cash to this cause long before these rumors hit the Internet.

My organization has discussed this matter in great detail with the two primary parties involved. I have been a neutral party seeking only the TRUTH. My Name is Dave Jenest from Sacramento, CA. It's easy to sling mud behind a made up screen name.

A confidential email was sent to a select group of ResistNet members by the Administrator of that organization. One of the group's own members betrayed their organization in leaking the unsubstantiated rumor. The Administrator's email contained statements she has now retracted as being unfounded and inappropriate. She instant messaged this reporter closing with the following:

"I do not know anything about Steve of Freedomsfirst integrity... I know in America we are innocent until proven guilty. There have been some allegations made and until the truth or facts come out supporting or refuting them we don't know. Please disregard my earlier comments made in haste. I hope this sets the record straight. Thanks Darla Dawald"

What if.... you're wrong?

Freedoms first was founded by Steve Domina according to his website. He says he is a 20 year veteran firefighter. On 9/11 Steve was called into The Pentagon where he worked for 3 days doing search and rescue, he then volunteered to serve in New York City at ground zero for 5 weeks. In July of 2008 Steve was forced to retire due to asbestos poisoning from ground zero.

Shouldn't be that hard to verify this statement on Mr. Domina's website. If it's true and all the accusations are proven false, what does it say about his attackers?

By the same token, had he taken people down the road to hell, even with all the good intentions in the world, the damage has still be done. The FACTS have been collected, the evidence is being analysed and the truth will come out next week! Someone will emerge a hero and someone a zero.
