FreeGiftsAmerica.com rip-off looks like they're charging you their cost to send the items "for free" Seaford New York
I got as part of joining a wholesale club two leather jackets and $4000 in gift certificates for this site. Jackets were fine, I had had one like it before and knew they would be as advertised.
I go to the FreeGiftsAmerica site and log in with one of my certificates. Then, I see musical instruments, and one in particular, that I really wanted. I check the Processing and Delivery fee -- OVER THREE HUNDRED BUCKS!!
So, I decided to see if the suggested retail price held up. It did, FreeGiftsAmerica represented that correctly. But I know for a fact it should not cost over $300 to ship it. This instrument does not weigh that much. The conclusion I came to is, what they are representing as processing and delivery fees, are, in fact, their wholesale cost.
I have just found two sites listing a price for this product that shows that the processing and handling fee does, in fact, come very close to covering FreeGiftsAmerica's wholesale cost.
Wholesale clubs, this might look like a good premium for your customers, but it's a ripoff. Don't go for it.
