I received my exciting 250 dollar gift certicate from NDI, a company that mails postcards to "winners", invites you to a 40 min seminar w/ the impression that you've won a DVD player or a 500 dollar/250 dollar shopping spree, and then tries to get you to join their "get-your-furniture-at-wholesale-price" club. Yadda Yadda Yadda. We've all heard of these seminars.

Well, I was content w/ my $250 dollar gift certificate and the ease of walking out after 30 minutes uninterested, that I went home and logged right on to www.freegiftsamerica.com. My first inkling to the scam was when they let me enter 500 dollars w/ my "code" instead of my actual 250 dollar amount. Great! I thought! Here we go! And then I started clicking on their categories. 2 unheard of watches, a soothing machine, a 1940 cheap brown radio, pocket knifes, wrinkle cream, a clock. s**t you find at a garage sale, and don't want. And the prices for the "processing fee?" Outrageous.

I thought 20 dollars for a knife to get processed would at least get it to me the next day. 3-5 weeks delivery. (don't worry, i didn't buy it). I gave my certificate number to my friend to try it out. Hey, you guys want to know it too? Email me and you can try it out yourself. GO freaking hog wild.
