Freelancer.com Company policies are fraudulent and they take punitive measure against victims to enforce illegal practices Sydney Internet
I had a project on freelancer.com, there was no work authorized, and the freelancer erroenously billed. Never checked my emails and payments were authorized due to timing. Freelancer refused to refund the money saying it was against policy, even though the charges were erroroneous and fraudulent.
I filed credit card disputes, and because all payments go into a pool, there was little reasonong to the allocation, and in return they locked peoples accounts, making it so they couldn't make a living. I've offered the most sensible options of resoultions, and I am hestiatnt to file more cc disputes at the moment becuase I don't want them to lock people's accounts.
So, I'm hoping public sharing of their practices will encourage them to make good business and legal decisions to refund prepaid and unused funds, and erroneously billed funds, so I don't have to tangle this further as a result of lack of options.
