I hire a company here on freelancer and after they didn't start the job for 4-5 days, i cancel the job and requested my MONEY BACK. UPON DOING THIS I WAS TOLD NO REFUND BY THE WORK FOR DOING NOTHING DUE TO THEY HAD FEES FROM FREELANCER.

I disputed with paypal which suspended my account on december 23, 2010 which is still suspended. i have supplied all the documents they requested but keep getting stupid emails that the quality is poor(guess today 300dpi is considered poor) so now send new documents with 500 dpi. Is it me or are they just stalling for some reason which i believe is for my jobs that are current to expire so they can say since i was suspended, the jobs closed and project was cancel so no refund on project fees.

I must be stupid, i am trying to help them get there money as i already got my funds back from paypal and my credit card. i should just cancel the dispute and release the money, This is the stupidest company on the internet, they claim they are the biggest yet they don't have 24/7 support, more like the cheapest. sounds like this company is ran by only a select few individuals, how bizzare.

I recommend trying to use someone else as you will just give yourself a big headache which we don't need. Sites like this are suppose to be easy but with all these unqualified india companies, it makes it very hard, yeah, you can hire someone for 30.00 and get ripped a new butt after a month of disputing trying to get your money back.

The best ever yet, they own and run the site yet you have to pay 12.50 to send the dispute to arbitration. When you transfer money, make sure you use your credeit card and no funds in paypal, show them how your own arbitration works, thru your credit card, it's free and not 12.50, they are a bunch of crooks and now they copy other popular sites with their garbage freemarket which is even a bigger headache as it is always malfunctioning.

so the end result was freelancer.com closed my account stating a violated something or whatever when all i did was hire someone and cancel when they didn't start and got put thru a nightmare. They still have my milestone so i guess this is how they make money, they close your account and keep your money. bunch of austrailian jerks, stay away from their site

I never posted this for the means of resolution but only for the fact for others to know. I already am done with them and i could careless, i already got my money back from my credit card as they didn't provide any service so I could care less but i want others to see the kind of company they are, there are better companies to use like guru, elance.com and more with the headache freelancer gives you

They don't intend to get into a public pissing match with you here. If you're not getting the results you want I certainly wouldn't expect it to get resolved with them here. That's ridiculous.

You're probably going to have to resort to legal means or forget it.

I've seen what happens when a company tries to resolve issues in public and I would not get involved in it if I were them.

Besides, if you air your complaints on a public forum you need to expect to get all kinds of rebuttals whether you like them or not. You don't get to decide who can say what.

yes, i know it's public and i know everyone can comment but he comments when freelancer has posted the same answer for every single dispute when i personally have been trying for over 1 month now to resolve. Theyn are just a very complicating support to resolve. So the answer of mind his own business was referring to, if he didn't read what i wrote originally and see that freelancer posts the same answer to every single person who has filed a report here, it is common sense which is clear he lacks, they won't ever post here or on any report filed as they don't want the world to know how horrible their site actually is so yes, they want to keep it private

First off, This is clearly none of your business. second, i have been dealing with their BS for the last month trying to get my account unsuspended so i can resolve the dispute but i get garbage like resend a new photo that isn't tampered with? like wtf..I took a picture as they requested adn they are accusing me of tampering with it like i really need to tampered with a photo of who i am, like come on, for real. This is the only reason they don't answer in public forums, becasue the answers they give out are ridiculous and stupid, only answers from austrailians who don't under the difference between an altered or unaltered photo.

So unless you have dealt with the non-sense answers they give and have been well over 30 days, before the holidays that you have been trying to resolve a simple issue that a moron inidan refuses to give back your milestone payment since i canceled the job on his due to poor communication, stay out of what you clearly have no clue about. This isn't my first dispute and not my first nightmare, they are the poorest company i have ever dealt with and i just want to clear this up so they can close my account. i already tried the profanity route but they don't seem to want to close it due to that so i just try harder everyday as i could careless about the stupid account, just want to clear the money issue but reading other complaints, it seems they have a habit of taking peoples money and not giving it back to them, a company i prefer not to deal with, very unprofessional, people need to gather and start a class action suit to show them we will not be pushed around

The company responded and asked you to contact them directly and that they don't deal with issues on a public forum. I don't blame them, I wouldn't either and I'm always surprised when someone does.

yeah, don't reply with a normal answer, your site is garbage and you know it, you just try to rip people off which is why you have so many unanswer complaints on this formum alone, this is why it is setup, to warn others as loser websites like yours, being the biggest doesn't make you the best. The only big i see on your site is the biggest India client based site which is horrible as they all say they can perform and they don't, bunch of liars just to get jobs
