I received multiple telemarketing calls offering no interest credit card from major credit card company, Mastercard.

They charged me $299 and I received a package with various benefits, medical and life insurance, etc including an application form for a Gold Mastercard. There was no "no interest" credit card. I returned the package within the specified time period and got a return receipt.

I called to confirm that they received the package and they confirmed and said that my account would be credited the $299 by Jan. 31, 2003. When I called because the payment was not received, the phone number was disconnected.

Then I found a rip off report.
