Freeline Marketing rip-off fraud business Fort Lee New Jersey
on dec 26th 2002 i went to atm to get some money out of my account the atm machine said innsufient funds i said no way ijust deposited money into my account on dec 20th so the money i was trying to get should have been there i called the bank they said that my account had a check come in for $229.95 i told the bank i didnt write a check for that amount she then told me it was a computerized check.
there was a phone number on the check i called that number i spoke with the man from costumer service i told him i didnt not authorize that check. he then in return said do you want arefund i said yes i do. he said it will take about 21 days to get the refund.
he said when you return the welcome package back to us plus your bank statement we will issue you a refund. i said i havent received no package he said that you should get it in a few days. now it is feb 7 2003 still no welcome package. i called the phone # again on this date now the phone # is no longer in service. so how can i go about getting my money back. can you help me.

I am fully aware of how this telemarketing scam works as I had the misfortune of having to deal with Freeline Marketing and their fraudulent affiliates. Here is some more info I hope can help you out. First off, let me tell you, this company is a big scam that uses many names!!!!
The names they use change as freequently as each week. They will access your account, take your money, then when you call customer service, they claim you ordered something, which can be returned for a refund. YOU WON'T get anything and if you do, it will just be an envelope with some junk in it! Then, you have to send it back and wait over 3 months to get a refund, while the company collects on the interest. ONLY 8 refunds are issued per day, so they can hold onto as much money as they can, for as long as they can. Because of all the legal problems, they had disconnected all the 800 numbers and are now sending out letters promising refunds to those who they've scammed, but don't hold your breath!
They've simply relocated and are continuing the scam with a new name and using the same ppl's bank accounts to draft more money! The 800 numbers and P.O. box address in Champlain are useless! They do everything possible to hide their location, and contact info. But each of their clients have a legal right to speak with someone at the company regarding their refunds.
