I shouldn't have done it, but I was curious and signed up with FreeLotto, under the understanding that I could back out in 7 days and get a refund of the $9.99 fee. Otherwise, they will continue to charge me $9.99 a month.

Well, it hasn't been a week but I want out. I'm will within my rights to cancel and get a refund.

What's the problem? I can't log in. I was never asked to create a password. I was told one would be e-mailed to me. It hasn't been. I tried again tonight. I used the Forgot my password link. I'm not even sure of my username, as I don't believe I got to create that either. I've tried the three combinations I might have used. One of them (e-mail address) wasn't recognized. The other two were. But still no e-mail with my password.

How am I supposed to cancel if I can't log in. They did sucessfully charge me, so I apparently successfully signed up. But I can't successfully log in, so I can't successfully cancel my membership.

I looked through their FAQ but didn't find anything to help. There was an e-mail address at the bottom: answers@freelotto.com.
So I used it. And within seconds I got back an error report:

"A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

answers@freelotto.com
retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period"

What long period? The error message came up within less than a minute from when I hit the Send button.

Now I'm worried they'll continue charging me $9.99 a month for a site I can't even get into.

I did find a phone number thanks to other reports on this site and I've left a message with the CEO's personal assistant. I didn't know who else to leave it with.
