I also was duped by this scam. I ordered 2 Snuggies and supposedly got 2 free. After $144, I figured they were good Christmas presents for 3 people and I'd keep one. Well, Christmas is two days away and I have no presents for my nieces, and the one for my son is not here. He's been talking about this thing since he first saw it on TV. I just found out all of it has been backordered. I now have no gifts for my nieces and have to go out and find something quickly today with absolutely no thought going into the gifts. And what do I do with 4 Snuggies in January or February or whenever they decide to send them?? I tried calling the 800 number and you get two seconds of music before it automatically disconnects. I wish I had read the ripoff report before I ordered them. . . . and now off to complain about Bendaroos which also is not arriving by Christmas!

Do not buy snuggies. Buy the Slanket at QVC.com. QVC has better reputation.

I am sorry, you will not receive your snuggies in time for Christmas, but their website does states: "Please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery" so there is no ripoff here until after six weeks have passed since you credit card was charged.

I am not actively promoting QVC, but you can trust the reputation of QVC. I recently purchased three from QVC on 12/11 and I received the box with all three slankets via UPS ground on 12/17.

From my previous posting on ROR on 12/18/2008:

I was thinking of buying some Snuggies for Christmas presents, but I thought I would wait because I had not yet decided what to buy for my relatives. I am glad I did not order the Snuggies. I found on getsnuggies.com it states you must allow 2-6 weeks for delivery and they charge $7.95 for postage and handling for each Snuggie include the second free Snuggie.

On 12/11/08 (Thursday), I ordered three Slankets ($26.80, $22.80 & $22.80) via QVC.com Special of the Day. With QVC, you can review your order, change color of items, cancel order (unless order has changed to processed stage) and you can get a refund of items purchased. I can vouch that QVC had refunded me for items purchased which I have returned. Note the huge difference in shipping charges and shipping times.

I received one box with three Slankets on 12/17/08 (Wednesday) via UPS Ground.

As of today, 12/18/2008, there are 7 reports on ROR, I am sure they will be more complaints posted as more and more people see the television commercials and they order the product.
