Complaint Review: FreightCenter.com

FreightCenter.com Tony Castro Shipping, Freight, Trucking, Delivery Trinity, Florida

FreightCenter.com is fantastic upfront while they explain to you what services they provide and how things will progress from pick up until delivery.  When they have lulled you into a sense of comfort and compatibility with the job AND have quickly and conveniently taken your funds UPFRONT for services yet to be rendered.... things go horribly wrong and the story quickly changes.

They were late picking up my item- it took 4 days from the initiation of the contract until pick-up.  They then picked the item up - did NOT package it "on-site" as they said they would.  Removed the item NAKED to a "Packaging Facility" which, two weeks later no-one at the company seems to no WHERE this packaging center is, Where my item is  or even when or IF it will ever be shipped!

Presently, I am out my item (a very expensive piece of medical equipment) + the $754.00 in shipping fees.  BUYER BEWARE!  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

When ever you go on someones web site and it says we will find you the best rate, that means they can't do it themselves, which means you don't need them.

Good luck and God Bless.

You are quite correct and I only wish- as a member of the laity- that I would have been so knowledgeable to know the difference.  I had originally attempted to contract with a reliable and well reviewed trucking company called Daley but they were so busy that they could not even get me a quote!  I suppose that this is the high season for moving items from north to south.  Anyway, it is my fault for not understanding FreightCenter.com's position in the market place and I do hope that by my posting that others will read and  understand that a broker is NOT the way to go but rather with a company that is fully vested in the outcome of the move, who owns their own trucks and hires their own drivers and delivery men.  Thank you for your information!

They find a trucking company for you, which you could have done on your own and gotten the service you expected.Trucking companies that have to haul freight thru a broker don't care about your product because you proved you don't care about them by using a broker. But there is still no reason why your machine can't be found, just ask the broker what trucking company has it.If you noticed the name on the truck that would help.

In the future call a trucking company near you and instead of some guy in Kansas that couldn't care less.
