My girlfriend and I have been looking for a French Bulldog puppy for some time now when we came across wednesdayfrenchies.net The site offers a brief albeit generic description of each dog with a link to contact for more information. We decided on a puppy named "quickel" so we each clicked for more information and received near identical email responses back. The only information they provided was that she was 9 weeks old folowed by 2 paragraphs of questions about us. the email closed by letting us know the cost to ship the dog was $240. In the follow up email, I asked for her shot records, whether she was micro chipped, what their vets name was, and I briefly answered a few of their questions. They replied right away to let us know they've "discussed" it and feel comfortable letting us have Quickel. The fee would be $650 + $240 for a total of $890. To get the shipping process started they wanted my name, address, phone number, & closest airport. They provided me a home number 302.760.9519 however they work and are never at that number so they also provided a cell 302.400.3577, which you can only text again bc they are working.

Once again I asked for shot records, microchip, and vet. The response was the easiest way to get them the money and me the dog was to Western Union the $890 to her "brother" Sam Smith because he works at Western Union (also not true). I then texted her cell to ask if I had the name and address right which she replied just go to any walmart and send it to the name and address I gave. I told her it turns out I don't have any plans for the weekend and would like to come pick up the dog myself. At that point she cut off communication.

ive read a few other complaints about these scum bags so don't be surprised if their website changes and they start all over tomorrow. Hope this was helpful!

Scam Artists

#2Consumer Comment

Fri, May 29, 2015

Everything stated previously is absolutely true.  These scam artists have reinvented themselves and have now set up a new website using the name Gorman Frenchies.  They advertised the same puppy, Quickel, as well as Bondi and Bash.  Simon contacted me within seconds of my email inquiry.  It became apparent after a couple of email exchanges that something wasn't right.  It is clear that they use the same spiel over and over.  Don't be fooled and fall for their scam.  You'll be sadly disappointed and your wallet will be empty.
